ABOUT

The Elk City Hotel has been a fixture in Elk City for well over 40 years. In fact, the building that houses part of the Gift Shop and our Victorian Room was built in 1935 after a fire wiped out most of the town.

First off, for those a little more savvy about hospitality lingo, we are technically a motel, not a hotel. In other words, our rooms have access facing the parking area and do not share common hallways (our only exception is the Victorian Room). But . . . the name “Elk City Hotel” was established long ago and so we have kept it.

We have thirteen rooms available, ranging from rather spartan with a double bed to larger remodeled rooms with a queen bed, multiple beds, kitchenettes, etc. One room is even a double-room that will sleep seven.  T.V.s, phones, microwaves, and coffeemakers are common in most our rooms. Dish TV and WiFi is also available in all our rooms (but please remember, we border on wilderness and available providers are limited, so our WiFi might not be as speedy as what you are used to).

For more detailed information and recent pictures of all our accommodations, please check out our Rooms and Rates link above.
